About

Hi!

I am Jamila, born Jacqueline, a Filipina revert to Islam since 2012. I am the owner of Classic Crown Hijab Store, an online store based in Manila that offers modest clothing and Muslimah apparels in the Philippines.

I am married for 2 years now, with a supportive man. He's also into traveling and photography.
I love cats. I have one named “Mueza”, a Siamese cat, whom I treat like my own kid.
I'm a very active woman, aside from working weekdays, I manage my store 24/7 except Sundays. I make sure its the day that I got to spend with my family.
I've been into fashion design ever since I was in my teenage years, so I took up a program related to it last year.
I'm planning to take up the other classes I needed to finish the program I was enrolled in, it might be next year,
In shaa Allah, I can finally have my “ME time."

I also love simple art projects, DIY, classic designs, vintage and travel themes. Designing home spaces, planning, organizing and styling of events are my thing too.

I also love to travel and try new places I’ve never been to so I will also share some of them with you here. From the places we visit, travel tipid tips (how to minimize your expenses while traveling), foods to try and so much more. HASHTAG excitedmuch!
My husband and I also invest in taking photos during our trips so expect that you'll frequently see many photos here and in my Instagram.
Just recently, I decided to start this blog to share my journey as a Muslimah, living in a Non-Muslim country, to be able to share things that may help my fellow Muslims. I am not a scholar not even that expert on everything about Islam but I will try my best to share everything that I learn and discover about my religion.

How beautiful Islam is and how it changed my life. Sharing a life of a revert, making the most out of it and how people I share path with can make a difference and awareness in our society. I hope you enjoy and learn something as you browse my site. If you are a Non-Muslim, I pray to Allah that you may help us in spreading reality and awareness in your place.
